This should ultimately become a shared family endeavour rather than the responsibility of one individual. If, in future, another member or group of members of the family is willing to take responsibility for researching, validating and maintaining the genealogy, that would be most welcome. The objective is not ownership of the family tree, but its preservation and increasing authenticity for generations to come.
